Solo pilot terms
The basics of using the Million Word Club Solo pilot.
- The Solo pilot is currently free and invite-only for adult readers. An invitation gives access to the reading tools available at that time. Family, school and other managed-reader access is introduced separately through approved adults; a Solo account does not grant management rights over another reader.
- Keep your sign-in details private and use an account you are authorised to use. Do not attempt to access another reader’s data, bypass usage limits or misuse catalogue and reporting tools. Contact [email protected] if you suspect someone else has accessed your account.
- You retain your own notes and reading records. You can download a copy from My books and request account deletion. Only enter material you are entitled to use, and do not put sensitive information about other people into catalogue reports or the public access form.
- Book metadata comes from external catalogues, reviewed sources and labelled AI-assisted enrichment. It may be incomplete or incorrect. Edition-specific page counts and source-reported word counts are preferable; other word totals are estimates. Progress and Bookmarks are motivational tools, not certified measures of reading ability or educational assessments.
- Check the title, author, language and format before adding an edition. Report inaccurate listings so we can review them. Corrections can change estimated totals; manual counts and recorded reading history are preserved wherever the correction permits.
- This is an evolving pilot. Features may change and the service can occasionally be unavailable. Export important notes and records. We may restrict access that compromises the service or other readers, and can help with a data request through the support address.
- If we introduce paid plans or material changes to these terms, we will explain them before asking you to accept or pay. Nothing here removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. The privacy notice explains how account and reading data is handled.
